Yes. The shade rotates independently of the arm, allowing you to fine-tune the direction of light beyond what the arm position alone provides.

Serge Mouille created his insect-like lamp designs in the 1950s as a reaction to the heavier Italian lighting of the era. His goal was modern fixtures with delicate lines and a striking visual presence — the One-Arm wall sconce became one of his most enduring and versatile designs.
